Tea,
professionally
Thanks for coming by, I’m going to try not to waste your time.
Bottom line:
I love helping to make a project the best that it can be.
I’m a video editor, filmmaker and jill-of-all-trades digital artist with 10 solid years of experience making my artistic skills my 9-5. In that time I’ve worked on diverse projects and have had the pleasure of seeing my clients return to me with multiple new pieces.
Before that, I spent my time in academia getting three degrees in film (DEC, BA & MFA) while being awarded for my work (BA awards, SSHRC Grant.)
My primary niche is video editing / post-production, which I’ve had the pleasure to explore in depth over the last decade, editing everything from artist videos, shorts and web series to local TV. (Often as a one woman post-production team.) I also shoot & run sound for projects like interviews, performance documentation and online content, my experience as an editor aiding me in providing flexible material.
I have also spent a decade running media labs. Building equipment depots from the ground-up, teaching filmmaking workshops, designing websites and creating posters for events. Keeping this connection to aspiring filmmakers of all skill levels has given me the ability to communicate well with clients from all backgrounds.
Also as the name of the site hopefully makes clear, I do not **** with generative AI and I do not use it in my work, it’s all “handmade”.

Tea,
personally
Ok, now I am going to waste your time.
The pronouns are she/her.
I am a lesbian trans woman feminist, I am an artists, I am also a huge nerd, however I have also worked out three times a week for 5+ years. (We contain multitudes.) Fundamentally I feel like I exist in a weird space in-between academic / art culture and chronically online video culture… but I’m continually attempting to re-frame this as an asset in whichever cursed 20## year we currently find ourselves in.
Additionally, I like to think I am funny, you are welcome to disagree.
(If you have to.) Everyone does consider me pretty nice though.
In my free time I watch entirely too many video essays, figure out camera rigging setups, build my own (and my wife’s, and my friends) computers, watch old tv shows and animé and generally struggle to relax.
