Trans Voice Video Essay Series
Client
Renée Yoxon
Year
2025 - Ongoing
This youtube series builds off of the work I had done for Renée on other short form social media, where notably on Tiktok we amassed over 121k followers and 1.3M likes. Moving to Youtube, we sought to bring deeper information and explanations to trans people about their voices on a weekly basis (50 videos in 2025) from Renée’s position as a trans voice teacher and educator. For me this also provides more room to play with the video essay form. The channel has grown by over 25,000 subs in a little over a year and our highest viewed videos range between 90k and 300k. Work on this series ranges from planning, to script review and encompasses all the audio-visual production. Renée Yoxon’s Youtube Page.

The series features interviews with a series of interesting or notable Montrealers, from artists and business owners to the enigmatic busker “Spoon Man”. The Street Speaks - Seasons 1 & 2
Client
Paul Shore / MAtv
Year
2015 - 2016
The Street Speaks was an early multi-platform local television show created by Paul Shore. Designed to be modular and perform both in it’s full 30 minute broadcast incarnation, run on MAtv (for two seasons and 22 total episodes), as well as to be split into individual videos online. The show as Paul and I built it featured local artists, poets and performers but the heart of it was street interviews with real Montréalers edited in an avant-guard style which, all these years later, has become the backbone of entire genres of online content. (Though our incarnation was far more ethical.) Camera and sound work for the artist / band segments and all post-production. Band Section Example. Performance Section Example.
